The Kentucky Derby was this past weekend and although we know the purpose is to win this distinguished horse race - many attendees have a hidden agenda. Its their time to out on their Sunday best and get super traditional and just outlandish! I'm not the biggest horse racing fan - but they are some of the most fun events!

yep, the #royalwedding is still on my mind.

So I didn't stay up til 4AM to watch the budding style icon Kate Middleton become British royalty - but I did watch the replay online - shouts out to CNN! And she was absolutely gorg - no surprise I know. Like many other girls - I couldn't wait to see what her dress was going to look like - and I must say she didn't disappoint.

The Princess effortless rocked a dressed from the late Alexander McQueen's creative director Sarah Burton. It was a mix of modern yet traditional - reminsicent of another commoner turned royalty, Grace Kelly who married Rainier III, the Prince of Monaco, and became The Princess of Monaco. Not that I'm anywhere close to jumping the broom but what girl doesn't like looking at wedding dresses? Show me one, please.

I know its Monday but here's The Weeknd.

You all know how much I love music - its essentially the soundtrack to everything that happens in my life. Well recently a friend put me onto this dude from Toronto, Abel Tesfaye, who is The Weeknd. Canada is kinda doing it big in the music - Drake & J. Beiber and not that The Weeknd can even be mentioned in the same sentence but who knew? I sure didn't! 

When I first listened to it I wasn't real sure what to think about it - but I gave it a second shot and its in heavy rotation on the itouch right now. He just (and when I mean just I mean in March) a mixtape - House of Balloons - and its super dope. Its a mixtape without that mixtape feel -- complete. Its got a real chill and extremely sexual flow to it - may come in handy for those of you who have special occasions you need to attend to (you know exactly what I'm talking about).
