The [missing] Adventures. 1.

It's a crazy | busy last two weeks for me. I travelled home for Memorial Day weekend for US Lax try-outs which was a great experience. This was the first time EVER that I have done anything outside of my school lacrosse team - so it was an eye opening experience. I arrived to find hundreds of girls (all ages) playing lacrosse and hundreds more watching them. It was crazy!! I met a lot of cool people and got to play with and compete with some of the best players in the country which was unbelievable. I got to play with girls who I've played against many times in season - and it was cool to get to know them on a much more personal level than just knowing their tendencies and numbers! Our team name was "Sexy Six" - very clever, I know. And although we didn't have the best record - I'm proud to say that I and a few of my fellow Sexy Sixers have made it through to the final round of try outs which will be at the end of July! How cool - right? I never thought in a million years that trying out for the US Lacrosse team would be something I'd do. Funny how life pans out.
