Pleasantly surprised this morning – rush hour wasn’t too bad this morning, but then again – I left my apartment at 7AM so I could’ve just missed it! But I actually didn’t mind the morning subway commute, I actually liked it. It definitely woke me up, especially after a awkwardly sleepless night. You know how excited you were for the first day of school or on Christmas morning and you woke up literally every 10 minutes? Yep, that was me last night – absolutely awful.
But back to my first day as a real New Yorker. It went well, met some cool people who are trying to do some BIG things with their life – awesome to see that! My day was super long, woke up at 6 and didn’t get back home until 8 (just in time to watch the Celtics beat up on the Magic) [I’m going to regret putting that in print if they don’t win tonight – so go Celtics!] Anyways, it was a very long day – but informative – and everything is going much better than I anticipated thus far. On to the next!
